The Chairperson's Charity for 2023
For my first year as Chairperson of this fabulous club I have decided that this years fund raising efforts will be donated to the Bronglais Chemotherpay unit appeal- based in Aberystwyth Hospital
"Hywel Dda University Health Board extends its heartfelt thanks and gratitude to all who have supported fundraising efforts throughout 2022 in support of the new chemotherapy day unit at Bronglais Hospital.
The new chemotherapy day unit, which is expected to open in 2024, will include a larger, purpose-built treatment area for patients, including an isolation facility, along with reception, outpatient and waiting areas, as well as consultation and examination rooms.
Additional facilities will include a meeting room with video-conferencing facilities, counselling rooms and private spaces for patients.
Every penny raised, including future donations, will therefore go directly to the appeal fund, with any surplus funds used to support those affected by cancer across Ceredigion and mid Wales."
I'm grateful to Mark for planning yet another charity eventy to raise funds for this charity and my thanks to Barclays for fundmatching up to £750 4£4!!

So this years Challenge will be be to complete three stages of the Offas Dyke trail with a total climb in excess of 5000'
