Chairmans Charity 2022

For my final year as Chiarman I have decided that this years fund raising efforts will be donated to 

Nightingale House Hospice. I'm hoping we will be able to meet for lunches where I will shake the bucket for donations and I'm sure Mark will be planning something interesting too!!

Nightingale House Hospice provides specialist palliative care services for those with life-limiting illnesses.

Our services are completely free-of-charge, to patients and their families across our catchment area stretching from Wrexham, Flintshire and East Denbighshire to Barmouth and the border towns including Oswestry and Whitchurch.

OUR MISSION

To provide services for individuals and their families living within North East Wales and the border areas who are living with a diagnosis of a progressive and/or life-limiting illness, delivered when possible in the location of their choice and always within the resources available to Nightingale House Hospice.

Following an assessment of physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs, services will be delivered by a multi-disciplinary team trained and competent to meet the needs of all patients, including those with complex, specialist needs.

Update from Mark....

Tale of the trek; 62 miles over 6 days, myself and 3 regular trekkers and an amazing driver, started in the rain at St Bees and ended just before a down poor in Robin Hoods Bay, a couple of blisters and one unfortunate tumble, but the great news is that the current total raised for Nightingale House is currently £3250.83 

Made up as follows - Just giving £1660.58 - Gift aid £335.25 -£4£ 750 and £250 pledged from Mitchell Group. plus £250  from the Chairmans Charity account.
